Bundle The Lead Before You Pack It
A flexible silicone cable wrap keeps a loose cable coil together for storage. Use the molded button and slotted tail instead of cutting a disposable tie each time you need the cable again.
A More Orderly Tech Pouch
Coil the disconnected cable loosely, wrap the silicone strap around the coil, and use a tail slot that closes without excessive stretching. Keep the connectors free and the cable free of tight kinks.
From A Cable Drawer To A Travel Kit
- Coil loosely. Follow the cable maker’s bending guidance and keep the plug ends accessible.
- Close around the bundle. Select the closure position to suit the bundle. Do not overtighten or strain the connector.
- Open before use. Release the wrap and uncoil the lead before connecting it. It is not a load-bearing or electrical-safety device.
Release Clean Dry Reuse
Remove the silicone wrap from the cable before cleaning. Wash the detached strap with mild detergent and water, rinse, and dry fully before putting it back with electronics. Check for tears or damaged closure slots before reuse.
